The Life The Thief Won't Steal
What does it truly mean to live the life Jesus died to give us? This message cuts straight to the heart of a question many of us have never stopped to ask: what kind of life did Jesus actually come to offer? Drawing from John 10:10, we are reminded that Jesus did not come so we could merely survive until heaven. He came so we could have life, and have it to the full, until it overflows. The Greek word used for 'life' here is zoe, meaning the very life of God himself, divine, spiritual, and eternal. This is not a better version of our old life. It is an entirely new one. When we receive Christ, we become partakers in his divine nature, empowered by his Holy Spirit, and connected to a purpose that was designed before we ever drew our first breath. The enemy does not mind if we are saved, as long as we are defeated. But this message calls us to recognize that he who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, and that the abundant life Jesus promised is not reserved for someday. It is available to us today.
